Susan, Greetings from New Orleans, On your suggestion I stopped by Kerry's Pub for a Murphys. Soon after, though, I was bowled over by stabbing pain in my gut. A cab got me to Charity hospital where a med student diagnosed me with a ruptured appendix. 8 rectal exams, 2 hours of surgery, and 3 days in an open ward and I'm finally out. You should've seen me being wheeled to the front door in a wooden wheelchair. I was pathetic but grateful. Love to all, Mack
